Thao Moore – Chef / Co Proprietor
Thao was born in Vung Tau, Vietnam, but her formative years were spent here in Minnesota. She is a graduate from the University of Minnesota – Duluth. After spending years in the corporate world, she decided to pursue her passion for food and wine.
Thao has traveled extensively and has been fortunate to have experienced fabulous cuisines from around the world. She followed her passion for food and studied culinary arts at The Art Institutes International Minnesota. Thao has experience working in the catering and restaurant industry. She worked at Oceanaire Seafood Room and staged at acclaimed restaurant La Belle Vie.
Thao’s passion for food is closely followed by her love of wine. She is WSET Level 3 Wines Certified from Napa Valley Wine Academy. She has further honed her wine skills by shadowing head wine makers from Napa and Sonoma, CA.
Thao cooks out of passion and hopes to share this passion with you in the food she creates and the wine she pairs. Our company motto is simple: Eat well and dream big. That’s what we do and that’s what we believe.

Tom is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin and has over 24 years of experience in the Corporate world. He brings unparalleled passion and leadership to Green Mangos Catering and encourages our team to provide only the best experience.
Tom recognized early on Thao’s passion for food and wine. Tom encouraged Thao to carry her passion into their vision of Green Mangos Catering. No matter the occasion, Tom’s goal is to have your event be a truly memorable experience.
